Android 4.3 JELLY BEAN for Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000

ANDROID 4.3 JELLY BEAN FOR SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB P1000

UPDATE: Now you can even install android 4.4 kikat on you device. Full instructions HERE

Google recently released its newest flavor of android. The next installment in jelly bean series, android 4.3 version of google's OS. Android 4.3 is more refined and smoother than the later ones. It now has bluetooth smart support for low energy consumption while using bluetooth devices. It also supports the latest Open GL 3.0 high performance graphics. It also features restricted profiles. Those who have used jelly bean before already know about the magic of Project Butter which increases the FPS to 60 and increases smoothness and stability of android. Its basically the best android has to offer YET!!.

Unfortunately for all the Original Galaxy Tab users the updates stopped rolling out at very early stage i.e at gingerbread ( 2.3). Samsung stopped providing further update despite the fact that the 1Ghz processor and that 512 MB of ram can still run the latest OSs smooth enough. Thanx to the openness of android third party custom ROMs are available thanx to some big hearted devs who care about the feelings of a user. 2. Good day, Raghav! I tried what you explained, but after I wiped the data/factory reset and wipe cache partition and I have to select the apply sdcard:update.zip it tell met "E:Can't open /mnt/sdcard/update.zip(No such file or directory) Installation aborted." I also changed the name of the CM10.2 file to update.zip but still it doesn't take it. What do I do wrong? there is no option to choose a file in the sd card it only says "apply sdcard:update.zip. 2. sorry for my late reply lately..
but you need not format the sd card anyway..
First just check that is your galaxy tab rooted and running a custom recovery because the stock recovery wont let you flash a third party .zip file.
just follow this link : http://www.androistic.blogspot.in/2013/05/how-to-root-galaxy-tab-p1000.html?m=1
