Galaxy tab was the first ever tablet to be released by the south korean IT giant Samsung. It has a 1 gigahertz cortex A8 processor and 512 MB of RAM. The specification are not that high end now. So you may like to root your galaxy tab. Rooting will remove all the restrictions set by the manufacturer and will unchain your device.
