- Samsung galaxy sIII(GT-I9300) with more than 50% battery life remaining, 100% just to be on the safer side of the fence.
- CF-root package for galaxy sIII
- Odin3 v3.07
- Latest samsung USB drivers ( should be present if you have latest kies installed)
- Galaxy S3 USB cable for connection
STEP 2:Launch Odin3, click the PDA button and select the .tar.md5 file that you extracted from the CF Root package.

There's already a way to root the Samsung galaxy s4. Thanks to a member from the XDA forum and despite the obstacles set by Samsung, the S4 can be rooted easily with a few clicks. By completing this, you'll be able to get rid of the TouchWiz applications,overclock your phone( srsly??0_o),download applications that require root permissions and much more.... This is how it's done:

- 2:Install Samsung S4 drivers. Quickest method is to download the latest Samsung Kies which includes the drivers required. Download Samsung Kies
- 2:Once the drivers are installed. Reboot your device to Download mode. (Turn off the phone. Press Volume Down + Home button + Power off keys together and release Power key when screen shows . Release all when screen shows Download mode.)
- 3:Connect the phone to your PC and wait for phone to be detected.
- Extract the contents of the zip file downloaded in step 1 to a folder and open it.
- Open Odin v3 (Odin v1.85 will do too) Click on the PDA button and select cofface_I9500_cwm_recovery_en_new.tar inside the same folder.
- Leave Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time selected and everything else unselected. Press START. The process should PASS and the phone should auto reboot.
- Turn off phone and enter Recovery. (Press Volume Up + Home + Power off together.)
- Select ROOT YOUR PHONE option in recovery.
- Reboot to system.

How to root galaxy tab p1000 gingerbread ( android 2.3 )
There are many ways to root your galaxy tab but i will try and explain the easiest one. Please note that I will not be responsible for any damage you cause to your device and rooting will end the warranty of your device.
1: You must have the USB chord to connect you tablet to pc.
2: Download and install samsung kies mini on your computer.
3: Enable USB debugging on your device "settings --> applications -->developement --> USB debugging "
4: Remeber rooting will void your warranty
5: Download the USB drivers for your device ( click here ) and install them on your pc.
Now you can do whatever you can or like to do with your device.

The original galaxy tab p1000 was a device launched quite a time back from now. Despite it being capable to run latest verision of android samsung denied any further upgrades from android gingerbread. Due to it having a good 1ghz processor and a hefty 512mb of RAM. Many custom roms are available for it now.
Thanks to humberos team it gets the taste of latest android availale i.e android 4.2.2. In this post i will give you step by step guide on how to install humberos custom android 4.2.2 rom on your galaxy tab p1000.
Please note: I will be in noway held responsible for any damage caused to your device during the process. Please follow every piece of instruction carefully.
REQUIREMENTS :
1: A rooted galaxy tab with a custom recovery installed.( Learn how to root from here )
2: humber os custom rom file. Download link below

3: Google apps for anroid 4.2.2. Download link below

4: please see that your tablet is charged to minimum 70%
INSTRUCTIONS:
1: Download bothe files i.e the ROM and the Gapps package rom the links posted above.
2: Connect your tablet to your pc via usb cable in mass storage mode
And transfer the downloaded files to your sd card and dont transfer them too deep into a folder just keep them in a place where they are very easy to locate.
3: Now boot into recovery by turning off your tablet and turning it on
By holding the power and the volume up button till you see the galaxy tab logo.
4: Now once in recovery navigate to "wipe data and factory reset" using volume buttons and select it using the power button. Run it.
Now select "wipe cache partition" and run it.
5: Now select 'install zip from sd card" and find the humber os file you transferred. Select and run it.
6: Once the installation is complete select 'install zip from sd card ' and now select the Gapps.zip file you downloaded.
7: Once the installation complete. Reboot your tablet. It will take long for the tablet to bpot for the first time.
ENJOY NOW YOUR TABLET HAS ANDROID 4.2.2 ON IT.
